We decided to go to Charles Town Races & Slots on Sunday. We never really go there much as neither of us gamble or play the horses--it was fun to see local horses run and something that might be more fun as the weather gets warmer.
The Paddock area is where the trainers exercise the horses prior to each race and the jockey's mount up
This was my favorite is I had been betting ( of course I have no idea on what to look for, I just liked to horse)

We had fun and it was interesting to "people watch" as well. I'd like to go there sometime this summer when the weather is nice, maybe place a few $2.00 bets play a few slots... $20.00 is my limit ( especially since I have no idea about horse racing)

This must be interesting to learn about! I know nothing about this stuff, but U. Kevin was talking to me a bit about it last year. I like your new background- looks like you are getting ready for Spring :)
