Valentine's Day was Memere's 90th Birthday!! Demian and Amy had a wonderful party at their house for all to gather and celebrate this momentuous event. Beverly had a great time as did all who were there.
A rare 'Kodak moment' for Beverly and all 5 of her children to be together for a portrait
It took a really big breath but she blew out all the candles ( rather than 90 the cake had "decade" candles instead)
To help celebrate some of the old neighbors from Juniper Lane were invited- most were unable to be there but sent their fond greetings. One couple that did come were the Dudley's, they lived next door. We found out that that it was also their 62nd Wedding Anniversary!!
With champagne in hand and cakes in abundance, Demian offered the first toast to Memere.
A special cake made by Charlene. It had rum and bourbon both in the center. I teased her later that too many slices of it could make one a bit tipsy

Malcolm and Christine with Beverly.It was fun to have everyone there-- Christine and Noah, with Noah's really sweet finance, Jenny drove up from Winston-Salem; Cheryl and Paul from Durham; Charlene and Hank from The Broadlands; Malcolm and I from Shepherdstown.
We missed not having the Gagliostro's ( Reine, Kevin, Alexandria and Hayden) from Boston, and the Sloan's (Nathan, Sara, Harrison and Hailey) from Atlanta but all enjoyed the wonderful photo album from the Sloans and the beautiful amethyst necklace from the Gagliostro's--you were there in spirit...

YeaH!!! Party pictures. I'm so glad to see everyone having such a fun time, Memere looks beautiful! I really wish that we could have been there in person. Thanks for posting these.
Thanks for posting these!!! I love seeing them... Everyone looks like they were having such a nice time and Memere really is radiant! She looks amazing... The collage is beautiful- can't wait to see that and everyone in person :)
