Malcolm and I went to Norfolk for the Old Dominion football game. Norfolk has become a really pretty city and it was fun to walk around the hotel downtown to see a few of the sites.
The downtown area has mermaids of all sorts everywhere- here are a few of them
A paddleboat that one can tour the harbor on
One of the "Tall Ships" currently docked in Norfolk- open for tours and offers excursions as well--no time this trip however
I wasn't aware until this trip of the MacArthur Memorial here in Norfolk- would like to tour it on another trip here
The USS Wisconsin is docked next to the Hampton Roads Naval Museum in Norfolk- quite an impressive site
