Malcolm and I recently drove to Clarksburg, WV for a one-day teachers conference. We took Rt.68 to just past Morgantown, then Rt.79 past Fairmont to Bridgeport, WV. The drive was about 185 miles but really nice roads and beautiful scenery along the way

We had to make a stop in Morgantown as I had never been there before.
No stop in Morgantown would be complete without a visit to one of the many pubs downtown bordering on the WVU Campus. We'll have to make another visit to Gibbie's in December when I graduate, perhaps after a basketball game...

The beautiful mountains and countryside along the Western Maryland highways
Such a pretty drive, and an "easy" one as well. Hope to take maybe a daytrip in the fall to see all the lovely fall colors and foliage.
