Springtime at Mal's Manor

Springtime is always when we have to assess the winter damage to the property and clean up all the fallen limbs and leaves as well as get the gardens ready for the spring plantings and the summer splendor of flowers, herbs and vegies. Here are some pictures of 'Mal's Manor' in March, I'll have better pictures of the Manor as the spring progresses and things become more lush
Otis loves to stand on the crossbars of the fence. He watches us as we toil in the meadowOtis and Kelly smile for the camera in hopes that they too can come join the "fun" in the meadow
My herb garden looks a bit unloved here but in another month it'll be full of blossoms and fragrant herbs

Malcolm the modern Paul Bunyon fast at work cutting those dead limbs and old trees

We were treated on Wednesday with the last hunt for the New Market-Middletown Valley Hunt Club. It is so neat to see the Hunt Club with the hounds ride down the road in front of our house!!
